This globally sourced sourdough starter originated in a San Francisco bakery in 1853. The starter is one of my favorites as this one is super active bubbly & super robust. This San Francisco sourdough starter has been handed down for over 170 years and is an active sourdough starter.
Feed this one with a 1:5:5 ratio to keep her happy and she will produce some amazing breads! If you are looking for a bit stronger "sour" taste this is the choice for you ! I absolutely recommend this gorgeous starter !
